Interested in Venture Scouts?

Venture Scouts is open to any youth, age 14 - 20 or having completed 8th grade. The motto of Venture Scouts is "Lead the Adventure". The program is built on 4 pillars: adventure, leadership, personal growth, and service. Youth run the program in association with adults who support them. The crew also has a Charter Organization that provides space, guidance, and sponsorship. Our charter organization is Hope Lutheran Church.

Crew HQ is St. James Church

Every Scout unit has a community sponsor that helps them with space and support. Beginning 2020, St. James Episcopal Church, 5 W. Olive Street, Bozeman, became our new home. We are in the process of making the space our own and getting settled in this new Charter Organization. When you come to St. James, enter by the RED side door at the top of the ramp and turn LEFT, go to the end of the hall, and go up the stairs! We will have signs posted soon.

Next Crew 2526 Open Meeting

If you are interested in learning more about Venture Scouts, we encourage you to attend an Open Meeting. We have them about every 3 months. You can participate, ask questions, and just meet the other members of the crew. Parents are encouraged to come and talk to the Committee Chair and Crew Adviser. Most meetings are at Hope Lutheran, but we also may be doing a field activity. Just fill out the form and we will get you more information about our next Open Meeting.
