Crew Meeting October 11

Knife project is postponed until November.
Winter camping:
Frank gave a refresher training on winter camping gear. The winter camping gear list will be posted under resources. The crew practiced packing winter gear into a backpack. It takes thought to take everything you need, but make it packable.

Prep needed for the Winter Trek:

Business:
November 22 moved to 29th
Lewis and Clark Candlelight Tour Interest - there is definite interest. Frank will look at available dates.
Swim Prep - Mono fin and Snorkel - Kristen will take lead on activities to prep for this related to Sea Base. The fins are expensive, so money raising will be important for this equipment.
Finances:
Sea Base - Payment of $427 is due now.
Dues - Annual dues of $25 due now.
Popcorn - Sheets are due on Sunday for popcorn to MaryAnne.

​Activities Process - we need to be more diligent in following the activity process. First, all activities outside of Hope need to have an assigned adviser, and reservations or arrangement should be made 30 days in advance. Crew leading events need to use the Activities Planner form.

Also - a google sheet with leaders will be posted  under resources. Leaders need to indicate what meetings they will attend.
