Bike Shake-down and Planning
The meeting started with discussion of the bike trip. After considering 3 ideas from Mr. Dougher, the crew decided to do the event on Sunday, Spet 15 and to do the combination Bike and Canoe activity. See the Activity Page for more details on this event. The following people are coming so far on the Bike/Canoe excursion: Julia, Annika, Sean, Rudy, Christian with Mr. Dougher, Mr Johnson, Mrs. Bailey, and Mrs. Eubanks.
Here are notes from various program and general discussion:
Bike Shakedown in the rain was fun. Everyone was reminded that a patch kit is an adventure essential, as is a helmet.
Reminder to all new scouts to get an application and and your health form to Mr. Dougher.
Notes by Mrs. Eubanks (until we get a secretary)

2019 - 2020 Year Plan
The crew had a really great planning meeting that included two remote scout (Hiram and Christian) on the phone, and Rudy Whitney in the room along with Julia and Edward. Rudy is a MSU Freshman and Pathfinder Rank from Helena Crew 2299. Julia met Christian and Hiram at NYLT. We had good discussion and developed an annual plan.

Some details may chance, such as location of Crew Meetings depending on activity, but the core information is in the plan. Always check the calendar and look for Reminds from Crew Officers before events.

Notes by Julia
At Meeting: Edward, Abby, Julia, Mr. Dougher, Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Cooker, Mrs. Eubanks.
The main topics of the meeting were preparing for the Yellowstone trip and teambuilding by personality assessment. We had Abby and Julia present (Edward had a family emergency).
They made decisions abou the Yellowstone trip - see the ACTIVITIES page for more information about gear, food, etc. Two decisions were made about activities and calendaring:
1. They do want to go to Boiling River.
2. The regular crew meeting on October 15 will be cancelled. Any crew business will happen on the trip.
Maryanne - our Popcorn Kernel - did the kick-off. Crew have 3 weeks to sell popcorn! Maryanne will contact anyone who was not there to get your packet. Remember, every crew members needs to sell $250 OR 6 hours per the bylaws. Plus, this is way to build confidence, fund your adventure, and help Scouting. It is strongly recommended you plan EARLY when you are going to sell, put it on your calendar, and get out there. On-line sales are a wonderful option to reach out of town family. If you have questions, contact Maryanne 406-451-9711 firstname.lastname@example.org
IT was a good meeting! The only thing crew members said was a thorn was the absence of other members.
