Venture Crew Meeting

Please read the Bylaws before the next meeting so they can be approved . Bylaws must be in place before the crew can hold elections!
Camporee May 21-22 – ELECTIONS!!!! (Bylaws need to be in place before elections); need someone to take the lead on food here (preferably someone who has not yet met the tier 2 requirement), otherwise everyone will supply their own food. The crew will be presenting an educational something on Wilderness First Aid to complete that requirement
Wilderness Survival May 13-15; buddy system will be used for (at least) the day-time activities
Going – Reilly, Madi, Charlotte, Kristen, Cayman, Emily Gentner, Sandy, Hanna
Memorial Day Parade on May 30- come if you can and be part of this event.
June 10-12 Senior Bon Voyage zip lining at Big Sky $88 for zip-lining, will be camping in an RV area
Recruitment; boy scouts can’t shoot guns, whereas venture scouts can (hand guns shooting range at the fairgrounds); need a BSA certified range master
Seabase; please commit as soon as possible, spots will start being opened up to other scouts. $100 down deposit. Trip will be June 15-21, not counting travel time. Estimated cost $2000. So far, Sandy, Madison, Kristen want to go. We will be opening up slots to other crews, so get your deposit in if you want to hold a place!
