The main topics of the meeting were preparing for the Yellowstone trip and teambuilding by personality assessment. We had Abby and Julia present (Edward had a family emergency).
They made decisions abou the Yellowstone trip - see the ACTIVITIES page for more information about gear, food, etc. Two decisions were made about activities and calendaring:
1. They do want to go to Boiling River.
2. The regular crew meeting on October 15 will be cancelled. Any crew business will happen on the trip.
Maryanne - our Popcorn Kernel - did the kick-off. Crew have 3 weeks to sell popcorn! Maryanne will contact anyone who was not there to get your packet. Remember, every crew members needs to sell $250 OR 6 hours per the bylaws. Plus, this is way to build confidence, fund your adventure, and help Scouting. It is strongly recommended you plan EARLY when you are going to sell, put it on your calendar, and get out there. On-line sales are a wonderful option to reach out of town family.
